Prime Perspectives are a team of 4 and we absolutely love what we do. We’ve filmed and photographed all corners of the state and around the world creating commercial content for an array of clients.
We understand the importance of visual communication across online distribution and television and pride in providing an excellent experience fueled by creativity.
When we take on a new client, there are often a number of questions in relation to the process we undertake to ensure an efficiently captured production and post-production process. After all, with our experience working in Los Angeles, Canada, and Australia on bigger budget TV Shows, Commercials, and Movie sets; there is nothing is more annoying than wasting time on-set.
Here is a brief overview of the experience working with us alongside some examples of recent work.

Upon connecting with us advising of your intent to produce a video for your business, event, or home/accommodation, we’ll immediately assess the best options for you.
Thankfully, we’re extremely flexible and have a number of price-range alternatives for your video production in Tasmania. We’ll discuss your budget, target audience, tone, and style and provide a comprehensive quote.
Getting the ball rolling… Time to script!
Once we have an understanding of your desired outcome for your production we’ll provide a quote to you and produce a detailed or basic script for your video production.
Every script is creative and we pride in producing clever concepts that’ll help you stand out from your competition. To us, every product has a unique point of difference; that’s why it exists. We expose how your product makes your consumer’s life better and why it’s convenient to purchase from you.
If you don’t like the concept we develop, don’t worry! We can always simplify or enhance. Creating the perfect plan of attack and concept is the most important part of a commercial. We’ll throw our ideas back and forth until YOU are satisfied.
Schedule & Scouting
Not every commercial or event is located within a set location, but the best part about producing content in Tasmania is that our landscape is so diverse. With our primarily untouched Tarkine in the West, baron Central Plateau, and pristine, blue East Coast, we have an abundance of locations to shoot.
Depending on your script, we scout the best locations to film in around Tasmania and obtain the relevant approvals to do so.
Talent Selection
Depending on your commercial script you may require actors and specific talent. We have access to ample actors around Tasmania and Australia that do an incredible job of fulfilling the requirements you require. We source presenters, voiceover artists, actors, and makeup artists when necessary for your productions.
When we have an understanding of the talent required, we’ll send you images and samples of their work to ensure you’re comfortable having them onboard your production.
Music
Prime Perspectives have access to an enormous list of licensed music for our video productions. Whatever tone you require for your commercial, we’ve got it! Pop, funk, electronic, house, cinematic… NO PROBLEM! All of our licensed music is included in your price and we’ll present these music options to you prior to production commencement. This will also be detailed in your script.
Briefed and ready! Production Filming…
Once you’re comfortable with your script, locations, talent, and music we’ll commence your video production at a suitable date. We encourage our clients to come along to each set, although it’s not necessary at times. Every shoot is unique and different and having our client on set for some ‘behind the scenes’ experiences is always enjoyable.
Post Production
Upon completion of your production filming, the post-production process begins. We process and edited all of the content detailed in your script and deliver it to you within the deadline established.
After the initial presentation of your project, we encourage our clients to watch the video in their own time over and over. We want you to pick it apart and be happy.
With each production, we edit 1 round of alterations completely complimentary before implementing a fee for additional alterations.
Once you’re happy… Voila! Your production is complete and ready for distribution. We also assist you with our online distribution service if required. This involves scheduling of Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube campaigns. Learn more about this HERE.

Restrictions
There are certain areas in Tasmania that require commercial filming agreements to be in place. For example, you cannot fly an RPA/Drone at Cradle Mountain or around Tasport Land. Nor can you film commercial content in National Parks without approval. Due to our exceptional relationship with National Parks & Wildlife Service and Tasports, we’re able to operate in these areas and obtain special approval to do so. We’ve also worked closely with the Tasmanian Government to ensure safe RPA usage and education around the state.
